You can delete your account directly within the PlantCam app:
If you've forgotten your password, you can request a password reset in the app using the email address associated with your account.
Alternatively, you can send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Account Deletion Request" including the email address associated with your PlantCam account.
Important: For security reasons, we can only process account deletion requests that come from the email address registered with the account. If you need to delete an account but no longer have access to the registered email, please include the following in your request:
We will follow up with additional verification questions if needed before processing the deletion. This is to protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests.
After your account is deleted, all your personal data will be permanently removed, including:
However, certain information may be retained for legal reasons as explained in our Privacy Policy. This includes order information with order numbers, payment records, and other data required for tax and accounting purposes, typically for 6-10 years as required by German law.
