PlantCam is a camera for plants
PlantCam is a compact timelapse camera made specifically for plants. You'll be able to spot problems early on and never have to wonder when the right time to water is again. You can monitor your plants anytime, anywhere, and the timelapse videos give you a much better understanding of how to best care for them.
Mount it to a window
Mount the PlantCam to a window using the included suction cup and aim it at your plants. That's it! As long as it's powered via USB and connected to WiFi, PlantCam automatically takes a photo every 10 minutes. You don't have to do anything - the PlantCam simply works.
Create videos with the app
The PlantCam comes with the free PlantCam App. Using Bluetooth, you connect the PlantCam to the app during initial setup. You have access to your photos and videos at all times from anywhere. Simply choose which images you'd like to turn into a video and select your preferred framerate. Within seconds, your timelapse video is available on your smartphone.

I enjoyed my plants so much that I spent a lot of time trying to understand how to best take care of them, how often to water them, which pot size to choose, and how much sunlight they need.
When I wasn’t at home, I sometimes worried that my plants might burn in the sun. I wanted to be able to observe them remotely to make sure they were doing well. Unfortunately, two out of four plants died. To make sure that wouldn’t happen again, I invented PlantCam so I could always keep an eye on my plants. Today, PlantCam is my full-time startup project, and I work on it every day with full dedication to make it the best timelapse camera for plants.
