Connect PlantCam with the app
Plug in the USB cable until a red light turns on. Press the Bluetooth button, open the app, and add your PlantCam. Connect to Wi-Fi – done! It will now take a photo every 10 minutes.
Mount it to a window
Attach the suction cup to a window and aim it at your plant. Use the Live Preview to frame it perfectly, adjust focus, and tighten the screws.
Create your timelapse
In the app's video tab, tap "Create Timelapse". Within seconds, your first video will be ready and saved to your phone.

When I wasn’t at home, I sometimes worried that my plants might burn in the sun. I wanted to be able to observe them remotely to make sure they were doing well. Unfortunately, two out of four plants died. To make sure that wouldn’t happen again, I invented PlantCam so I could always keep an eye on my plants.
